Dress for unexpected Montana weather. Lunch will be provided, but bring your own fishing gear, rain gear and camera. Recommended for overnight trips are sleeping bags, gloves, hat and/or cap, long under- wear, waterproof hiking boots, camp shoes and bug spray. A trip deposit of 50% is required in advance, and is fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to trip date.
Sphinx Mountain Outfitting will guide your hunting party into prime elk, deer, moose, bear and lion country. Hunters will have access to thousands of acres of wildlife habitat. Base camp is located in the Horse Creek drainage of the Gravelly Mountain Range. Our specialty is guided bow hunts in early Fall.

Rifle hunts originate on a 23,000 acre private ranch. The ranch borders the Lee Metcalf Wilderness, 50 miles North of Yellowstone National Park, on a prime elk migratory route. Hunts include 2 on 1 guided hunt, lodging, meals and transportation.
No party is too big or too small, go for the whole day or just a few hours. Horses are ready for all riders, novice to advanced. Tour through the Bear Creek Game Range or choose a ride through the Wall Creek Game Range, a unique, managed wildlife habitat in the heart of the Yellowstone ecosystem.
Pack Trips into the beautiful Tobacco Root Mountains are also available at a 3 day/2 night minimum.
Whether you prefer float fishing, lake fishing or wading, Sphinx Mountain Outfitting takes you where the fish are. We recommend our overnight fishing camp. Camp is conveniently located within a couple of hours ride of a high mountain lake; or for those who prefer lodging, dining and cocktails, your fishing trip can leave from your choice of lodging in Madison Valley.
